Actor and former Big Brother Naija star, Adeoluwa “Saga” Okusaga, has opened up about how he handles intimate scenes on set and the inspiration behind his forthcoming romantic film, Falling Notes.
In an interview with Jay On Air, the multi-talented actor, engineer, and artist stressed the importance of communication, consent, and preparation when filming romantic scenes.

Saga gained fame from BBNaija Season 6 (Shine Ya Eye), explained that he ensures both parties are comfortable before shooting any kissing scene.
“Before I get into kissing any actor, I sit with her and tell her how we’re gonna go about it. I use my hand to describe—it’s gonna be quick. We need to know what it is because you don’t want to have your lips locked while the person is trying to evade your mouth,” he said.
Speaking on his upcoming movie Falling Notes, Saga revealed that the idea came to him in January 2025, when he sought a new creative direction beyond painting and skit-making.
“It was heavy on my heart in January this year. I asked myself, what can I do? People have done painting. Let me sing. So I’m saying it for the first time that I sang in Falling Notes,” he disclosed.
Saga also highlighted how his transition into content creation alongside fellow BBNaija alum Roseline “Liquorose” Afije helped him gain credibility in the entertainment industry.
“I knew people wouldn’t take me seriously until they saw what I could do, so I called Liquorose and we started making back-to-back skits for about two years,” he said.
Their popular series, “Couple Chronicles,” has since become a defining moment in Saga’s acting career, earning him several offers from film producers.

“Every producer that has called me to work on their set did so because of those contents I created,” he concluded.
