Rap icon Nicki Minaj is reportedly facing the possibility of losing her luxurious $20 million Los Angeles mansion after allegedly failing to pay a court-ordered debt linked to a 2019 as sault case involving her husband, Kenneth Petty.
According to Page Six, court documents reveal that Thomas Weidenmüller, filed a lawsuit against Petty for an alleged assault.

He accused the couple of refusing to pay the over $500,000 they owe him in damages.
Weidenmüller has now requested that the court authorise the sale of Minaj’s 11-bedroom Hidden Hills property to recover the debt.
The legal filing noted that the mansion is subject to a $13.2 million mortgage lien and a $722,151 homestead exemption, totalling just under $14 million
This leaves about $6 million in equity, enough to cover the judgment and associated costs.
Weidenmüller’s legal team further argued that Minaj’s massive wealth makes her continued refusal to settle the payment “unjustifiable.”
“Nicki Minaj is a global superstar worth between $150 million and $190 million — one of the world’s highest-paid female rappers,” the court filing stated.
“She clearly has the means to pay this judgment, yet has failed to do so despite repeated demands.”

If the request is granted, the Hidden Hills property, one of Minaj’s most prized assets — could be placed for court-ordered sale to satisfy the debt.
