President Bola Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Digital Media and Strategy, O’tega Ogra, has warned popular Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo of possible legal action following a social media exchange between the two.
The controversy began after Timi Dakolo, in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

He accused Ogra of ignoring his phone calls, prompting a strong response from the presidential aide.
Reacting via his verified X handle, Ogra stated that the issue raised by Dakolo was an “institutional matter” that the singer had personalised.
He stressed that any further public remarks on the subject would attract professional and legal redress.
“I see and have noted the commentary. I will not engage in explication where none is required. My record is public and stands on its merits. Any further attempt to personalise a clearly institutional matter will be met with formal correction and the appropriate professional and legal redress,” Ogra wrote.
