Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, has revealed that she narrowly escaped death after suffering a life-threatening health crisis in June while in the United Kingdom with her husband, Banky W, and their two sons.

In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram, the Sugar Rush star disclosed that she underwent an unexpected surgery, describing the experience as both terrifying and transformative.
“I could have lost my life in June,” she wrote.
“What I went through was horrific and ended with an unplanned surgery, and strangely, the surgery itself was the least dramatic part of it all.”
Adesua explained that the incident occurred while she was in the UK for two speaking engagements, noting that divine intervention played a major role in her survival.
“If even one single detail had been different, I wouldn’t be here today. When I think about it, I shudder,” she said.
The actress shared that the ordeal deepened her faith and strengthened her gratitude for life. “There’s nothing anyone can tell me, God is real,” she affirmed.
Concluding her message, Adesua encouraged her followers to live with compassion and cherish every moment.
“Let’s choose to be softer, kinder, gentler, forgiving, patient, loving, and peaceful. I’ll never take another day for granted, neither should you,” she added.
