Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold, has opened up about the deep love and sense of responsibility he feels toward his wife, Simi, and their daughter, Adejare.

Speaking on the NotJustOk podcast, the award-winning artiste shared that his family remains the heart of his life and motivation.
He revealed that his daughter, Adejare, inspires him to work harder and provide a better life than he had growing up.
Reflecting on his journey, Adekunle Gold said his song “My Love Is The Same” was born out of his desire to be a present and devoted father.
“All I wanted is to do more for my own daughter because I can’t afford to bring her into the kind of life I grew up living.”
“It has to be way better. My family is my centre. I can afford to be a failed musician, not a failed father or man. That’s not negotiable,” he said.
Through his words, Adekunle Gold paints a picture of a man who values family above fame a reminder that behind the spotlight stands a husband and father driven by love and purpose.
