Nigerian artistes have officially submitted their projects for consideration at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
This raises anticipation among fans and music lovers worldwide.
According to Grammy monitoring platform, The Grammy Guru, Wizkid leads the list of Nigerian acts with the highest number of entries.

His submissions include Morayo for Album of the Year and Best Global Album , and Piece of My Heart for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best African Music Performance.
He also submitted Kese (Dance), directed by him, for Best Music Video.
Also, his joint hit with Olamide and Darkoo, Billionaires Club, was entered for Best African Music Performance.
Burna Boy also made strong submissions.
Also, his latest album No Sign of Weakness was entered for Album of the Year and Best Global Album .
His single Love was submitted for Best African Music Performance, while his collaboration with French star Joé Dwèt Filé, Kampé III, was submitted for Best Global Music Performance.
Ayra Starr is also in the running, submitting Hot Body for both Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
Her collaborative track with Wizkid, Gimme Dat, was submitted in the Best African Music Performance and Best Music Video categories.
Meanwhile, Davido recently joined the Recording Academy as a voting member.
This further strengthening Nigeria’s presence within the global music community.
The Recording Academy will carefully review and vote on all submissions before announcing the official list of nominees in November 2025
