Nigerian singer and music executive, Tobi Mohammed, popularly known as Alhaji Popping, has revealed how he narrowly escaped death during a terrorist attack in Bauchi State in 2017.
Speaking on the Adesope Live Show, the entertainer recalled that he and fellow artiste, Rayce, were ambushed by gunmen wearing military uniforms while travelling in a car.
According to him, the attackers shot at their vehicle 10 times.
“The bullets entered the steering, wheel, AC and the boot, but not one touched me,” Alhaji Popping recounted.
He said the car was badly damaged but, miraculously, neither he nor Rayce sustained any injuries.
Also, he added that the terrifying ordeal has since deepened his relationship with God

The singer admitted he never told his mother about the incident because she would have been greatly worried.
However, he described the experience as a turning point in his spiritual journey.
