Abuja is on the brink of a major transformation, as the Federal Capital Territory Administration pushes to complete key infrastructure projects by 2027.

On Monday, officials launched access roads ILS 02 and ILS 03 (Timipre Sylva Street) in Mabushi, signalling a renewed drive to modernise the capital.
Fully Funded Infrastructure
These projects directly support President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which focuses on improving infrastructure, transport, education, healthcare, and youth opportunities in the FCT.
Moreover, authorities emphasise that they fully fund all ongoing and upcoming projects, aiming to prevent the delays and abandoned contracts that hindered previous administrations.
Judicial Projects Prioritised
Beyond roads, officials are accelerating judicial infrastructure.

For example, teams continue work on the Court of Appeal complex in Dakibiyu and judges’ residential quarters in Gishiri.
Although some delays at the Court of Appeal site remain, authorities have summoned the contractor and are taking urgent steps to meet deadlines.
Importantly, judicial housing protects judges’ independence and security, allowing them to live safely within the capital.
In conclusion, the Mabushi road upgrades and judiciary projects exemplify the administration’s commitment to fast-track stalled infrastructure.
As a result, Abuja moves steadily toward becoming a modern, fully equipped capital city by 2027.
