May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood star Yul Edochie, has initiated legal proceedings against Yinka Theisen, the former partner of Yul’s elder brother, Linc Edochie.
Also, she accuses Theisen of cyberbullying, cyberstalking, and defamation.
In a formal letter issued by her legal representatives, Graylaw Partners, May alleges that Yinka persistently published malicious posts on social media, spreading false and damaging claims against her.
According to the notice, these actions were deliberate attempts to ridicule her and harm her reputation.
Also, to endanger her safety through online threats and unverified allegations.
The letter further claimed that Yinka’s conduct incited others to share and amplify the defamatory content, thereby deepening the emotional distress and reputational harm May continues to suffer.
Through her legal team, May has demanded that Yinka cease all defamatory publications, delete existing harmful content and issue a public apology
Also, circulate retractions across all platforms where the allegations were posted.

In addition, May Edochie is seeking ₦500 million in damages as compensation for the impact of the alleged cyber harassment on her personal and public life.
