Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw, reality TV star Wanni, and other celebrities have condoled with Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna, following the death of her sister, Ruth Otabor.
Ruth died on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at about 6:30 a.m., according to a statement by Eko Solicitors & Advocates on behalf of the Otabor family.
Phyna’s sister had been involved in an accident on August 13, 2025, when a Dangote Group truck hit her near Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State.
Kate Henshaw prayed for God’s comfort for the family, while Wanni expressed pain over Ruth’s suffering.
Hero Daniels and Daniella Peters also sent condolences, urging strength for Phyna and her family.
Former BBNaija housemate, Wanni also expressed deep sorrow, saying: “Oh no! I’m so pained, No! No! Ruth went through too much pain, may her soul rest in peace.”
