Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao has addressed the long-standing rumours linking her romantically with fellow actor Odunlade Adekola.
She insisted that the allegations are fabricated to tarnish her reputation.
The actress came under fresh scrutiny after a viral video showed her allegedly avoiding cameras during the burial ceremony of Odunlade Adekola’s father last week.

She cleared the air through her Instagram story on Wednesday,
Eniola Ajao shared a series of posts where she made it clear that she would no longer waste energy trying to defend herself against false accusations.
In her words:
“You can’t fix every lie and rumour, nor can you defend yourself every time. Just be great. People may destroy your image, stain your personality, but they can’t take away your good deeds because no matter how they describe you, you will still be admired by those who know you better.”
She added that “life hits differently when you stop trying to prove you didn’t do what people accuse you of, or that you are not who they claim you are.”
