Nigerian media personality Tunde Ednut has stirred reactions online after making a subtle jab at Afrobeat star Wizkid.
The incident followed Davido’s post celebrating his family’s latest private jet acquisition, their third. Ednut joined in congratulating the singer on Instagram, praising the achievement.
However, the conversation took another turn when a fan identified as @jeremyahi asked Tunde Ednut when he plans to purchase his own jet.
Responding, Tunde Ednut said he would buy one only after Wizkid acquires his.
“After Wizkid by God’s grace,” he wrote.
The remark was quickly interpreted as a shade directed at Wizkid, sparking mixed reactions from social media users.
While some found it humorous, others accused Ednut of trying to fuel rivalry between Wizkid and Davido.
