Celebrity chef and Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci is once again set to make culinary history as she prepares for an ambitious feat, cooking the world’s largest pot of jollof rice.
Ahead of the main event, Hilda Baci was seen testing a massive custom-built pot designed specifically for the challenge.
The viral footage has further heightened anticipation for what is expected to be one of the most iconic food events in West Africa.
The record-breaking attempt will take place on September 12, 2025, at Muri Okunola Park in Lagos.
This was during the much-anticipated Gino World Jollof Festival.

Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Hilda wrote: “Six metres wide. Six metres tall. On September 12, we make history together. Because what is jollof without you to share it with?”
