Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface is undergoing further medical examinations today in Milan as he closes in on a move to AC Milan, according to reports from Italy.

The Nigerian forward began the process on Friday, August 22, 2025, with routine checks at the club’s facilities and the mandatory CONI (Italian Olympic Committee) assessments.
He later continued with detailed evaluations at the Galeazzi Hospital in Milan.
Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Milan even recalled their trusted orthopaedic surgeon from vacation to oversee the procedure, given Boniface’s history of injuries.
The 24-year-old battled muscular problems during his two years at Bayer Leverkusen and had two anterior cruciate ligament surgeries in March 2019 and November 2020.
Despite these fitness setbacks, Boniface netted 11 goals and registered two assists in 27 appearances across all competitions last season.
