Music star Davido walked down the aisle with a quiet yet powerful reminder of his late son, Ifeanyi. The singer’s cufflinks bore a small portrait of the child, a personal tribute that kept his memory close on one of the most important days of his life.
Davido and his wife, Chioma, shared the moment of remembrance during their wedding on August 10, 2025.
Chioma’s bouquet carried a similar memento, with Ifeanyi’s image pinned delicately among the flowers.
Speaking to Vogue Wedding, Davido explained the significance of the gesture: “My cufflinks held a portrait of our angel, Ifeanyi, a way to keep him close to our hearts on the most beautiful night of our lives.”
Reflecting on the ceremony, the singer added, “I felt at peace. I got to marry the love of my life and I get to wake up next to her forever.”
