For weeks, whispers have floated around about comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, better known as AY, suggesting he was regretting the end of his two-decade-long marriage with his estranged wife, Mabel.
Some even claimed he was making quiet moves to reconcile with her.
But AY has now spoken up. Taking to his Instagram page on Thursday, August 21, 2025, the comedian cleared the air, describing the rumours as false and misleading.
Back in April 2024, AY publicly confirmed that he and Mabel were going their separate ways after 20 years together.
Now, months later, he insists that while the memories remain, the chapter has closed and he is not turning back.
