Actor and content creator, Ijoba Lande, has raised alarm over an alleged AI-generated nude video falsely portraying him in bed with the wife of a senator.
In a clip shared via Instagram, Ijoba Lande revealed that he is being blackmailed to the tune of ₦5 million to stop the release of the manipulated video.

Furthermore, he urges the Nigerian government to urgently regulate artificial intelligence to curb digital blackmail and identity manipulation.
“Someone sent me a video and threatened me. In the video, I was naked and with a married woman. I’m not the one in that video. The person is demanding ₦5 million. If you’re behind this, please delete it. What do you gain from ruining lives?” he lamented.
The comedian disclosed that the clip has already been circulated among his benefactors and industry colleagues, raising doubts about his character and threatening his career.
He further revealed that the alleged woman in the fake video is married to a senator, a discovery that worsened the scandal.
“People are now forwarding the video to my benefactors, and some don’t believe it isn’t me. I don’t even understand how the video was made,” Ijoba Lande said

He insisted that if unchecked, it will cause serious damage in the country.
This controversy comes months after his personal life made headlines.
His Marriage
Back in March, Lande’s marriage collapsed following accusations that his wife, Darasimi, had affairs with over 20 men in the entertainment industry, including actor Baba Tee.
Baba Tee initially denied the claims.
However, he later admitted to a brief encounter with Darasimi during a “Truth or Dare” game.
Also, she eventually apologised, describing her actions as a grave mistake.
Despite the ongoing drama, Ijoba Lande has maintained his innocence.

He emphasises that the viral video is AI-generated.
However, he concluded by handing the matter over to God.
