Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has openly accused American music magazine Billboard of “robbing” him.
This was after his songs were excluded from its recently released Top 50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All-Time list.

Billboard’s ranking placed 2Face Idibia’s ‘African Queen’ at number one, also featured timeless classics such as Timaya’s ‘Dem Mama’, Weird MC’s ‘Ijoya’, and Olu Maintain’s ‘Yahooze’.
However, none of Terry G’s popular hits, including ‘Akpako Master’, ‘Free Madness’, and ‘Run Mad’, appeared on the list.
This sparks controversy among fans.
Reacting to a post by music monitoring platform Chart Data, which highlighted African Queen as number one, Terry G wrote: “TERRY G robbed.”
