American music magazine Billboard has unveiled its list of the Top 50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All Time, placing 2Face Idibia’s timeless hit African Queen at number one.

Wizkid stood out as the only artist with two entries in the top 10. His classic Ojuelegba claimed the number two spot, while his global anthem Essence featuring Tems secured number five.

Favour’s Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix) ranked third, Rema’s Calm Down came in at number four, and CKay’s Love Nwantiti landed in sixth place. D’banj’s Oliver Twist, Davido’s Fall, Burna Boy’s Ye, and P-Square’s Chop My Money Remix featuring Akon completed the top 10.

Nigerian artistes dominated the top 20, but Ghana also made a mark. Fuse ODG’s Azonto featuring Itz Tiffany was ranked 18th, while Sarkodie’s Adonai featuring Castro followed closely at number 19.

Styl-Plus’ evergreen track Olufunmi was ranked 11th, with 9ice’s Gongo Aso at 12th. P-Square’s Do Me and Davido’s Dami Duro claimed the 13th and 14th positions.

Yemi Alade emerged as the highest-ranked female lead artist with Johnny at number 15.

The rest of the top 20 included Wande Coal’s Bumper to Bumper at number 17 and Phyno’s Fada Fada featuring Olamide at number 20.
