For Nigerian singer Niniola, music has always been a safe place, but behind her smile and vibrant stage presence lies a painful story that shaped her life. In a heartfelt moment, the talented star opened up about the most difficult experience of her childhood the murder of her father in 1995.
“I was my father’s favourite child,” she said, her voice carrying both pride and sorrow. “I was in the house that day when he was murdered in 1995. Till today I have not gotten over it. I can never get over it. It wasn’t a good memory.”
For a little girl, watching the person she loved the most taken away so suddenly left a scar too deep to heal. That day, her world changed forever.
