BBNaija has honoured the memories of three former housemates who sadly passed away, with a moving tribute during the ongoing Season 10.
In a solemn gathering, the current housemates came together to remember Francisca Owumi, Joseph “Joe” Ada, and Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey.
Francisca Owumi was the runner-up of the show’s debut edition in 2006, was celebrated for her free-spirited nature, passion for dance, and lively personality.
Joseph “Joe” Ada, a contestant from the 2006 season as well, was also remembered for his cheerful disposition and contribution to the early success of the BBNaija brand.
Rico Swavey, who graced the 2018 Double Wahala season, was fondly recalled for his creativity, talent, and calm presence.
Also, his life was tragically cut short in 2022 following a car accident.
The emotional tribute featured images of the three late housemates displayed on screen, followed by a reflective moment of silence.
The gesture allowed not only the current housemates but also millions of viewers to acknowledge their enduring impact on the show and the Nigerian entertainment industry.
