Former Anambra State governor and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has called on Nigerians to take part in the Continuous Voter Registration exercise.
Obi described the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) as the most powerful tool for building a new Nigeria.
He advised citizens to organise themselves and make election rigging difficult, stressing that selling votes only empowers politicians who seek public office for personal gain and looting.
He urged Nigerians to choose leaders with competence, character, capacity, and compassion, while warning against deception and intimidation during elections.
Obi restated his belief that a “New Nigeria is possible” if citizens take responsibility and actively participate in shaping the nation’s future.
