Media personality Toke Makinwa has shared joyful news with her fans, revealing that she is expecting her first child.

On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Makinwa posted a video on social media with a baby pump, describing the pregnancy as “the biggest project of my life, the highest calling ever.”

She reflected on how much her life has changed in the past year, writing, “2025… what a difference a year can make. That was my prophetic declaration entering into the new year.”

Expressing gratitude to God, Toke Makinwa said the journey to motherhood had been deeply personal and transformative. “You have completely changed my life.

You opened this door that nobody can shut… You worked on my heart posture to get me ready for the biggest blessing and the highest calling,” she wrote.

She described the timing of her pregnancy as perfect, adding that the experience had strengthened her faith.

“God is never late, and God can be trusted. My healed pain will break someone else’s chain,” she said.

Reflecting on her career, the on-air personality said she had worn many hats over the years, but this new role as a mother-to-be was the most special.

“This victory is major. You get to see me as a mother, I get to raise my own,” she said with excitement.

Addressing her unborn child, she wrote, “My bug, I cannot wait to meet you. You’ve made me the happiest person on earth. Thank you for choosing me… the greatest reflection of God’s grace.”
