For years, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez have been one of football’s most admired couples a story that began in the aisles of a Gucci store in Madrid back in 2016.
She was working there at the time, and he was already one of the most recognisable faces in the world. What started as a chance meeting soon grew into a love story followed by millions.
On Monday, August 11, 2025, that story turned another page. Rodríguez, 31, shared a photograph on Instagram that needed no explanation a sparkling ring on her finger, her caption reading in Spanish, “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”
The couple’s journey has seen them raise a blended family together. They have two daughters of their own, and Rodríguez has embraced the role of mother to Ronaldo’s three other children.
In 2022, they faced heartbreak when they lost one of their newborn twins, a boy a loss that drew them even closer.
