For years, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez have been one of football’s most admired couples a story that began in the aisles of a Gucci store in Madrid back in 2016.

She was working there at the time, and he was already one of the most recognisable faces in the world. What started as a chance meeting soon grew into a love story followed by millions.
On Monday, August 11, 2025, that story turned another page. Rodríguez, 31, shared a photograph on Instagram that needed no explanation a sparkling ring on her finger, her caption reading in Spanish, “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”
